Our Story

Union Pictures is one of the leading animal training companies in South Africa and has been supplying trained wild, exotic, and domestic animals to the film and television industry since 1987. We’re also members of both the Animal Keepers Association of Africa (AKAA) and Paazab.

The owner of the farm, Luke Cornell, lives on-site with his family and crew of highly experienced trainers and caretakers, offering the best to both the animals and clients alike.

The 140 hectare farm offers a diverse array of locations, a custom built studio, a multi-faceted team of professionals and a variety of animals. We offer over 2km of river frontage, dessert terrain, grasslands, mountains, orchards and several others. The studio is equipped with ablutions, showers, kitchen, offices, WiFi on-demand, and professional surroundings for every shoot.
